Slideshows
At the slide evenings (pictured at top) Paul will show a number of stunning
images of the local area, featuring nature people, architecture and wildlife.
Using
the slides as points of reference Paul will illustrate how different
lenses
affect the look of your photograph, as well as how different weather
conditions alter your images. These evenings are perfect for those who
know nothing
about their cameras all the way up to people with a keen interest in
photography. The talk will go for an hour or so with plenty of opportunity
to ask questions
both during the talk and afterwards.
Sunrise Photo Tour
Meeting in the lobby at 6am we will head firstly down to the beach to
photograph pre-dawn (where we hope to get some lovely blue colours),
sunrise, and
then the post sunrise glow. Spending an hour and a half or so down
on the beach we will then venture into the rainforest to look at how
to photograph plants
and hopefully any birds or animals we may come across. The tour will
last for approximately 3 hours during which time Paul will give hands-on
instructions
on not only how to use your camera but how to get stunning images out
of it. This tour again is of benefit to photographers of all levels,
and those
shooting either digital or film. All you need to bring is your camera,
tripod if you have one and maybe a pen and paper to write down notes.
Sunset Photo Tour
Meeting at 3pm in the lobby we will head off in search of great photographic
subjects. Firstly we will start off in the tropical rainforest to
be found on the resort. Here we will photograph various plants, trees
and any animals
or birds we might come across. After spending an hour and a half
or
so in the forest we will then head down to the beach to photograph
the ocean
as the sun goes down behind the mountains. We will stay here until
the sun goes down at approximately 6pm. The tour will last for approximately
3 hours during which time Paul will give hands-on instructions on
not only how to use your camera but how to get stunning images out of
it.
This tour
again is of benefit to photographers of all levels, and those shooting
either digital or film. All you need to bring is your camera, tripod
if you have one and maybe a pen and paper to write down notes.
*Due to the fact that photography is so dependant on the weather, the tour may be altered slightly to suit the available lighting conditions. Rain is no impediment as Paul will teach you how to take your camera out in the rain without getting it wet. All you need is a plastic bag. Paul will bring the scissors and rubber bands!
