In line with the requirements of the Queensland Government all guests aged 16 and over are required to be double vaccinated within hospitality venues including, hotel, bar and restaurant from the 17th December 2021.

Our requirements as a business reflect the directions given by the QLD government in that all guests are required to be double vaccinated from 17th December 2021. Also in line with government directions all our staff are double vaccinated as of 17th December 2021.

In order to provide a full experience at Thala Beach Nature Reserve from 17th December 2021 all guests will be required to show their vaccination certificate and valid ID at check-in confirming they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. These regulations apply to all people aged 16 years and over, unless you can show verified proof of vaccine exemption for genuine medical grounds.

As per government directions a proof of vaccination certificate is required to be sighted when guests check-in using the Check-In Queensland App. QR codes are displayed and required to be used for check-in via the Check-In Queensland App on arrival at Thala Beach Nature Reserve and Osprey’s Restaurant.

We recommend you download the Check-In QLD app prior to arrival, install it on your phone and link your vaccination certificate.
